Christa Lilly awoke from her coma for three days. In this time she spoke with family and a tv station before sinking back into her coma. She went into a coma after she suffered a stroke and heart attack in late 2000. She told the tv station that her biggest challenge was learning how to talk once agian after six long years. When she relapsed her doctor said that she was in a minimally conscious state, which is a step above vegetative state, which she was before she awoke.
He nuerologist (Dr. Randall Bjork) doen’t know why she awoke, but he thinks it’s possible that it’ll happen again, but not for a longer period due the severity of her brain damage.
