In 1995, this man, who goes by the name Peng Shulin, was “cut in half” when a truck drove into him. Nobody expected him to survive the ordeal, yet he never gave up hope and is living and happy to this day.
What surprised most is that he didn’t just survive, but he is returning to a normal lifestyle, aided by a set of prosthetic legs and an egg-like lower casing.
The little light bulb lit up in Beijing, China, where a group of doctors at China Rehabilitation Research Centre heard about his unfortunate story, and decided that they wanted to help.
Peng Shulin is now able to walk freely, and has done so, but he still requires lots of excercise, but I don’t think that’ll be a problem for him!
