Do you run a blog?
If so, don’t miss out on this great opportunity to help the environment. If you haven’t heard about it yet, on October 15, 2007 more than 5,000 (It’s still climbing rapidly) blogs will all post and raise awareness about the environment. There are a couple big names involved, and you just can’t miss the opportunity if you’re an enviro-freak like myself.
There are three ways you can help out:
- Promote Blog Action Day
- Contribute October 15’s earnings to any of the participating charities
- Post on your blog about the environment on Blog Action Day.
Here’s a quote from the event’s official website: http://blogactionday.org/
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind - the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.
Blog Action Day is about MASS participation. That means we need you!
I’m going to attempt to contribute in at least two ways on the 15th, and I’ve registered on the site, all I’m waiting for is approval.
In order to further raise awareness, I’ve added in a banner on the right with a link to the organization. There’s a lot more info on the website if you need any extra help (or you can comment and I’ll answer).
Don’t Miss Out!

My blog action is a tribute to the environment…with animated clips, music videos, award-winning short documentaries, newsbites from leading conservationists from around the Globe, and reviews of films like DiCaprio’s 11th hour.
Check it out!
