Virgil Griffith (pictured below), a CalTech grad student, conducted a rather interesting study that links SAT scores with music tastes.

The results are very, very interesting with the brightest students favouring Beethoven, whilst Lil ‘Wayne seemed to be enjoyed by the *less* bright students.
A couple notable things to point out regarding the study though, as noticed by Beatcrave:
- No style of music is dominant in the intelligence zones (which begs the question whether there is any link at all)
- SAT tests are considered inaccurate when determining intelligence
The list is below:

The study wasn’t meant to be particularly scientific or inclined to prove anything, but it does make up for some very interesting results.

I don’t know what to make of this. It would seem that the poepl who listen to Beethoven are wealthy individuals who no doubt have many years of graduate education….and would therefore be “SAT smarter” than say a poor black man who listnes to lil wayne!

Hi friends,
I would like to share my thoughts on std testing or std test.It maybe off topic but it is really on topic of life and caring. I want all of you to help yourself and your partner by testing as soon as possible. In STD it is always better to get tested as soon as possible.
Take care,

Umm i don’t truly understand how music can actually make you dumber. So if im dumb then Beethoven will make me smarter? I am an lyricst and there are so many new words and things that i’ve came across and the way artist use metaphors but in an way that seems amazing;which i feel they’re teaching me things i never knew besides drug weights or how to have sex. And how does music make you smarter or dumber? Does it triggers something in the brain? I wonder ….

James Earl, you’re a lyricist? You should really figure out how to construct a basic sentence before attempting poetry any further.
