Ahh, complaining. It’s a way of relieving stress quickly and angrily. It’s the point where we’ve just had enough, or we are never happy. Usually we’re told it’s bad to complain, but funnily enough it is relaxing when you’re done and someone knows of your trouble (Once again proving that we should share our troubles). So why not harness this stress-reliever? Well, it is possible, just ask Life Coaches:
- Only allow yourself to complain for an alloted period of time (say one minute).
- Stay away from personal judgements.
- Figure out what you would do differently.
- Commit to a new, productive action.
