This is an awesome idea. Tom Hanke, a German artist came up with a rather smart wallpaper design, titled Surrealien which makes the wallpaper appear to bend and warp past other items against or on the wall. The effect is absolutely awesome, but will obviously have to be specifically made for a room. Your only downside is that you won’t be able to alter the decoration of the room, but it’ll be a look nobody else has.

Pricing would obviously vary, because every room is different. Click for more information on how the warping is calculated.

This awesome bit of artwork I found at Gizmodo, which I highly recommend, and feel free to comment there if you wish.

He may of been the pioneer, but he wasn’t the photographer, Thomas Sutton was, under intense supervision of course. The photo was taken three different time, of a ribbon, each with a different color filter in front of the lens. This was then combined with 3 projectors with the Red, Blue and Green filters, which resulted in the color image you can see below.

What you see below is a 1:1 model of a Toyota Carolla, but only in wire and paint. What I love about it is that it looks like a sketch that somebody pencilled in afterwards. Created by Benedict Radcliffe, as part of an advertising campaign.

I’ve never even think that anybody would attempt something like this! This picture was in Germany, of a building with a rather elaborate draining system. Thankfully it’s drainage… and not sewage.
I saw the this over at Deputy Dog, who credits Jeff with the photos.

Enjoy.
