Alden wash, a 101 year old man has recently celebrated his birthday alongside passing his driver examination with ease. Alden planned to drive to his party which was arranged by a group of friends and back again home by himself!
Bill Couch, Alden’s son sometimes keeps a watch on him by driving behind his dad to make sure he’s safe and OK.
“I feel a lot better about that,”
Bill says.
Alden’s all-time favourite car is a Impala which he owns to this day. Alden is well aware of his age though as he stays out of heavy traffic as much as he can. This doesn’t mean he hates driving. This man loves it! He estimates he gets around 7,500 miles (12,000 km) a year driving around his rural town of Langley on Whidbey Island.
